Running the Windows Update trouble shooter repeatedly said that there were errors in the update and that there were updates waiting to be installed. Windows Update failed in its attempt to reinstall a different video driver over my current one. UPDATE: After many hours of searching and running diagnostics and 'fixes' I found the answer. My question is this: Is there anything I can do to fix the Hellspawn Update that I haven't yet tried? Or am I going to have to go through the process of going back to a previous version of Window's 10 that isn't the 'LOL! Let's ruin gaming!' update? My video card drivers are all up to date. I've checked for updates, and my system is up to date.ħ. I've disabled the 'Fullscreen Optimization' option on the games, and this did not fix my issue either.Ħ. I've turned off all of the options under the Gaming settings. Games were running at 60+ frames before the update. This isn't a game specific issue in any way because it's all of them.ģ. Over 40+ games from different developers. This is NOT an issue where I'm running an old version of the game.Ģ. All of which were working fine before the update.ġ. After putting it off for a bit, I installed it yesterday morning. I had a patch for the Creator's Update pushed through to me.
